While mouse over targeting in ver 2.0 is great, you completely avoided the original post, Will we be able to have an option to have PRIORITY of our targets go from left<->right regardless of distance to something more practical like left<->right:closest to furthest.Okipuit>> ChiefCurrahee, we're able to share updates as we receive them. We understand that you have a very specific suggestion but as other topics are also being discussed here we chose to include some general updates to targeting here as well. Please understand that we have taken your suggestion and passed it off to the dev. team but we can't always discuss things that are in-development.
Right now in game, it's difficult to target something that is to the left of you and slightly ahead when there are targets more midline to your character but completely out of range. THose targets that are midline regardless of distance have priority over ones that happen to be closer but more lateral.
Can you comment on that? Hopefully it won't take seven months to get a reply that doesn't answer the question.
As you're aware, the targeting system is being completely revamped in version 2.0 so there are a lot of great improvements that are being made. We ask that you wait for the Alpha test and beyond to review the progress of the targeting system developed based on the communities' (including your) feedback.

Just to fill you all in on the Item Team's current thought process, they would like to introduce new weapon types at the time when new classes are implemented.
What will be introduced? Well, that's a story for another day... :P
